FAQ
Each box contains two panels. These panels will join next to each other seamlessly with no join line showing.
1️⃣ Glue Directly to the Wall
Apply a quality construction adhesive or grab glue straight onto the wall surface and press the panel firmly in place. This simple method is ideal for quick, clean installations with no visible fixings.
2️⃣ Screw Directly into the Wall
Attach the panels by driving screws through the acoustic felt backing. Use black screws for black-backed panels and silver or grey screws for grey-backed ones to maintain a seamless look. We recommend at least 9 screws per panel, spaced evenly across the width and every 800 mm down the length. For ceilings, ensure screws anchor securely into joists, and always choose appropriate fixings for materials like plasterboard.
3️⃣ Mount onto 45 mm Timber Battens for Best Acoustic Performance
First, install 45 mm timber battens onto your wall. Then screw the panels through the acoustic felt directly into these battens. For optimal sound absorption (Class A rating), place insulation such as Rockwool behind the panels and between the battens. This approach enhances both acoustic performance and visual appeal.
